The LOST Themed Disney Attraction petition was kicked off on December 8th, with a promise from Jeff “Doc” Jensen (from Entertainment Weekly) to promote the cause. Since then the petition has garnered a mention from Damon Lindelof to a fan at the LOST Art Expo, then two blog articles have picked up the thread. Read on to see how it started. I had to miss this tweet-up because of a prior commitment, but I’m really glad to see the WFTB just keeps on rolling. And thanks to y’all I’m not feeling all alone on a beach hauling rocks in vain. You tweeps just keep on keeping on. This is the only Rose & Bernard flashback we get, I think. I think they’re arc is fairly well wrapped up in the final scene of this episode, then in the Season 5 finale where they’re at peace at living together on the island. To them it didn’t matter that they were no longer in the right time, they were in the place, and that was all that mattered. While Jack and Kate.. well they still have some work to do.

Enjoyed the Live TweetUp last night immensely. You can never predict how these things will go. With the deep story of The 23rd Psalm I was thinking it was going to be a deep discussion of redemption and Eko’s haunted past. Instead it became somewhat like an zany episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000 as we snarked about Micheal’s blooming chat addiction, and Charlie recurring smack addiction. That said, this is an awesome episode, and makes the list of “we need to watch that again” episodes (and the Darlton DVD commentary is awesome). I’m combining two tweetup’s in one post, since I was in the middle of vacation, Wednesday’s Live TweetUp for The Other 48 Days (S2E7) was a little sparse. Things picked up again for Collision (S2E8) as the traction for the second season story arcs gain traction, and start down their winding paths. We’ve reunited, tragically, all known, non-captured, survivors of Oceanic flight 815 back at our familiar beach. Eko’s already gotten first read of Jack and Locke. Ana Lucia has made a non-apology apology to Sayid for gunning down Shannon (honestly I’m not that torn up about Shannon’s demise… though I mourn for Smokies lack of a meal) Lots of good tweets for Collision, as we debate #anahate, versus #analove.

Shannon is abandoned in her back story from the death of her father, her evil step mom (mother to Booth) practically disowned her. Vincent was abandoned by Walt and placed in Shannon’s care. Shannon, has seen a dripping wet Walt roaming the jungle, so she has trekked out into the jungle (with lovesick Sayid on her heels) to find Walt and make everything right in the world. The Tailies have felt a bit abandoned by the Fugies, so they’ve headed off on a cross-island trek (with Michael, Jin and Sawyer in tow) to reunite with the other Oceanic survivors. Only Sawyer’s arm is wanting to be abandoned after the gunshot from Mr. Friendly’s crew, and he’s in bad shape. Finally in the final minutes of the episode, Cindy abandons the Tailies (something about Ana Lucia getting all up in her grill or something) and leads them to a collision with Shannon…
