Ok, that time of the week. Any thoughts on what’s to come tomorrow night? Everyone speculates by now that Michael is Ben’s spy on the freighter. But the cast of Lost agrees that this is the most shocking episode of the first seven. So the appearance of Michael can’t be all that shocking, we must be in store for something really really good to trump the high points of a so far stellar season.
Also would be no surprise that Sun gets off the island. And I still think Michael rounds out the Oceanic Six.
So what’s left that could maybe equal or trump the high points. I’m gonna go out on a limb and make this off the wall prediction. Michael is revealed the father of Sun’s baby, Jin gets killed. Oh sounds awful, but am hoping to be proven wrong. Just food for thought, what are your thoughts?
Jo, just read all that. If episode 8 is indeed a flash forward, maybe he’s not considered a six and his alias name is what keeps him a secret.
O well, my theory is shot. Just what in the world could trump then? Second guess, Bernard is shot and killed. But will that really interest me?
Maybe the final shocker is it won’t be Michael. But no, I don’t think most of the viewers will find it shocking if they even put a little thought in it themselves and hadn’t been spoiled. Perrinou’s been in the opening credits all season, most people are putting that as 2 and 2.
I heard earlier in the season, this cliffhanger would be about the same level as Ana Lucia getting shot. So I’m thinking like you and your confirmations that someone dies, but it is someone we don’t care too much about dying.

I see from some posts that there is confusion to why people work for Ben. IMO it is really not hard to work it out.
Ben is ruler supreme and a very intelligent man with all the answers a person could possible want.
It will come a time when it is either us or them, people will make bad decisions and all hell will break lose. From this diabolical mess that is created, Ben will become trusted (in a way), but more because he does know all and is powerful.
Maybe a mini war between Widmore and Ben will cause people to take sides, people to get hurt and people to turn on each other. It’s a mixed up world and where other than the Island’o of Lost’osaraus for it to be a more than trippy experience than normal.
I am not entirely why many cannot see that Ben in the long run is a good necessity for all and the island. As it stands everyone is in for Hell if he doesn’t help at some point.
Onto the question at hand…
The episode is all about Jin and Sun off the island with their baby; Ji Yeon. So a self explanatory flash forward we are instore for. Jin did father the baby, hence they had to get off the Island ASAP or she would die. So, i expect a big Juliet / Sun on the island argument about her gong to Locke’s camp.
Of course at the end of the episode we get to see Michael as Kevin Johnson (next week is all about him and his death i believe) when he meets Desmond and Sayid
The guys on the freighter meet the Captain.
Miles and Locke have at last got to speak to each other, right? after that grenade ending.
Without being a know it all and stating the super obvious — The oceanic 6 are all named because what i have mentioned already….and the centric title does help, lol.
I do not believe much else will happen other than what i have mentioned, however, i think it will indeed be a good dramatic episode and a heck of a lot better than the mess that was last week.
I just want more Ben, Desmond, Sayid, Faraday, Widmore, Penny drama!!
From what i understand the guys are finishing the scripts for the last two episodes of the season as we speak. This season is not a 2 hour finale but an hour a week as normal. Talk about annoying and imagine the drama of waiting a week on cliffhangers!!

I heard today that Richard Alpert is back this season. The guy that plays him is back for an episode near the end of the season — Brilliant. I hope he is in it a lot next season.

I agree with you that Michael is most likely the spy on The Freighter. But if he rounds off the Oceanic Six I will be PISSED. Sawyer has to go with Kate! I hate Jack. He’s so whiny and annoying. But I’m so excited tomorrow is LOST DAY!

It seems that Jin and Sun not only made it off the island, but with their baby as well, so Sun and Jin are the final 2 of the Oceanic 6. This episode’s title is believed to be the name of their darling bundle of joy as the two adjust to family life. On the island, Sun considers moving to Locke’s camp, and the episode also marks the triumphant return of Bernard. Still on the freighter, Desmond and Sayid learn more when they meet the ship’s captain.
Next week we will learn more about Michael, let me know if you want a little more details about next weeks episode.
well I heard someone gets killed but dead isn’t always dead on the island according to tvguide, the eyepatch guy will make another appearance. penny’s dad will make an appearance on the island. micheal is the guy on the boat. I think what will be shocking is micheal just because it was spoiled dosn’t mean it would not be the shocker, either that or miles suddenly begins to yawn or sneeze and Kaboom!!!! that grenade he has in his mouth explodes, I feel sorry for miles, locke should not have put that grenade in his mouth … I mean what if he’s allergic or something, I know I’m allergic to grenades especially if it’s in my mouth. so if jack and kate are talking on the beach and suddenly you hear a kaboom!!!…..well…. oh well.

I try not to read the spoilers, but of course Micheal is on the boat, but I’m still sticking to my theory that he’s not Ben’s mole. Hopefully rounding out the six will be Jin and Sun. The show’s been slowing but surely focusing on them. If someone has to die I say Juliette cause she annoys me.
As much as I think & know it’s Micheal, I think that is their "big surprise" that it IS NOT him after all. I am sure after all the speculation & posts about it being Micheal, they switched it up. You have it admit, you’d be shocked to see someone OTHER than Micheal. Just a though. =)
I, too, saw a sneak peak of Jin & Sun walking through the city in a flashforward carrying baby stuff… It was leaked out somewhere. But then again, they could switch that up too ha!
What really interested me is the note they read while on the freighter that said "DO NOT TRUST THE CAPTAIN!" I can’t wait to see what thats all about
I really think you’re reaching a little to far with the Michael as Sun’s baby daddy prediction.
I just keep thinking about the Sayid episode and how he was working for Ben in the flash forward. The woman he was with to get information on her employer was after him for the same reason, information about his employer who we found out is Ben, and part of his ploy to pick up this girl was that he was part of the Oceanic 6, she new of him as pretty much a celebrity when he introduced himself (she even asked him about the time on the island). With this know, and knowing that Ben’s Man on the Boat is more than likely Michael whose to say that there aren’t more of the Oceanic 815 survivors that make it back to civilization? But just not publically, only under the authority of Ben on his "missions". Maybe the other survivors who are not working for Ben and not part of the Oceanic Six are Ben’s bargaining chip for Sayid, Michael and whoever else is working for him to indeed work for him to protect the island. Hell, Maybe the whole Oceanic 6 may be called on by Ben at any time to do his bidding (he may have let them go with that stipulation). Maybe that is why Hurley, and then Jack both want to return to save the rest of them because they can’t continue to be under Ben’s control? IDK but it really makes you wonder. What possesed Michael, and then Sayid in the future to work for Ben. And WHERE THE HELL IS WALT? Did he get stuck in the time vortex like Desmond? But because he’s special was trainsported fully to the future???? Is that Ben’s bargaining chip? Does he know where and when Walt is? IDK but it is such an interesting show and I am totally obsessed. PS. I think we know that no one will get the girl in the whole Jack Sawyer Kate love triagle. And I think that Juliet and Jack’s love story will fizzle soon. And Jack is not a baby, he and Kate are the glue that keep the show together especially the flashback storylines.
i really doubt sawyer is going, he said he wants to stay and there is no mention of him in kate’s flash forward.
Just a thought maybe Locke is the 6th survivor and he has died and that is why kate wasnt interested in going to the funeral but jack being all nice guy went either way I think that the 6th person that survived the island is now dead so I just hope its not Sawyer
I have been back and forth on Lostpedia.com that website gives us so much info,, and from what it is hinting,, Jin and Sun are the last two of the "Oceanic 6" they will get off the island and since it was mention early during an interview with the directors,, one of the Oceanic 6 will die,, and sadly enough,, I think it will be Sun, since she did conceive on the island,, but she is not the one in the coffin at the funeral home Jack visited. I know,, hearing that dissapointed me a bit, but when they interview Juliet, she said that something will happen, something big, that she didn’t like reading about.
