I always assumed that was a painting of Ben’s mother that was handed down to him years earlier by his father. When Harper muttered that comment “you look just like her” I figured she was referring to Ben’s mother, because she has seen that painting and perhaps the one photo Ben has of his mom posing with his dad.

Ben is so adorable when he’s trying to be nice. Still, definitely one of the worst first dates ever.

Poor Juliet, Ben is all creepy. I still heart him though.

Holy cow that looks like a painting of Juliet in the background when he opens the door. Hmm “you look just like her” could mean it really is Juliet from the 70′s.

Man he plays on her emotions so well..when Ben realizes at that moment Juliet still cares for Goodwin, ben tells her about a ‘possible case of Goodwin “wanting” anna. LOL! True or not…damn that was clever.. sneaky bastard. gotta love em.

He totally comes off that way, and it is such a brief, funny moment he has in his character. I actually ‘aww-ed’ aloud. XD

Is it just me or at the beginning does Ben seem like the nerdy boy in school trying to impress the prettiest, most popular girl in school. It seems like he doesn’t have much experience dating women.
