On the TV show Lost, what was happening with the woman getting nosebleeds and headaches?

the other day, the lady that was getting nosebleeds and headaches… what was happening to her? The same thing happened to Desmond too but I forgot why? Does anyone know?

Well Charlotte (the lady) has been getting nosebleeds and headaches for a current unknown reason. It is assumed that Daniel Faraday has an idea of what this occasion might be, which will be revealed in the next episode. I think it has something to do with the time traveling of the island.

If you recall from the episode "The Constant" Faraday said that bleeding and headaches were early signs of the harm constant time travel causes to the body. The rat in his experiment at oxford died, as well as some people on the freighter. If you recall Desmond was able to avoid this by finding his constant Penny.
