Our frog seems to have lost the use of his back legs and gets cast on his side – eating – is he dying?

I meant he is still eating.

To the other answer – I have seen some stools on his floating rock. He is an only child. Fed waxmoth larvae, flies and moths.
I have just noticed that there seems to be a film of sorts coming off him? He keeps getting cast on his side still too.

beside the frog any other things there???
i will give faw answers and if u can post up more to fellow up i may able to help.
1.If just a broken leg.. it shouldn’t kill the frog
2 if u got another fish or frog there.. it may because the leg so can’t get to the food. the frog dies.
3 Cast on the side….fellow by 2 i will put into another tank start the treatment.

impaction or metabolic bone disease are the 2 main causes of this

both are serious and both really need a vet

is it still passing stools, if it is its probably MBD if not its probably impaction

mbd needs a d3 injection from a vet, calcium dust (and maybe a d3 suppliment) added to its food and 2% uvb bulb within 12inch of where it likes to sit

impaction may need laxatives (from vet) or warm bath soaking but if its this far gone its probably too late.
